Dr. Russell Morrow is a general dentist in the Phoenix Arizona area. He stated, “The Waterlase iPlus is the Swiss Army Knife for every procedure that I do. While the laser is equipped with an arsenal of different tips in size and shape, I tend to stick to the basics unless procedure dictates a specialty tip. My go to would be the MZ5-6 and MZ6-14.
For me it is all about access. If I am troughing in the posterior I want something slightly short however, in the anterior doing cosmetic gingivectomies/closed flap crown lengthening I like to see around the laser handpiece and thus why I use a longer tip.”
Always remember, these are single use tips and your laser will work at the optimum level with new tips every time.
